Where Does Your Blood Go?

You might have a few ideas about what happens once you leave the Carter BloodCare donation center, but we thought we would fill in the gaps. We documented the entire process starting with you, our donors, and ending at the hospitals we provide to. Our newest video provides exclusive behind-the -scenes footage of where your blood actually goes!

STAY ON TOP OF YOUR CHOLESTEROL

When you give life with Carter BloodCare, you get access to important information about your health including total cholesterol, blood pressure and hematocrit (the percentage of red blood cells in blood). At higher levels, total cholesterol is considered an indicator of cardiovascular disease. Guidelines from the American Heart Association suggest the ideal total cholesterol for those under the age of 20 is < 170mg/dL. Log in to review your stats today!
